BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus had the privilege of hosting H.E. Mr. Ivan Fetisov, Consul General of Russia in Mumbai, along with Mr. Matvei Fetisov, Vice Consul, and accompanying officials, on 13^th May 2025.

During their visit, the delegation was welcomed by and engaged in discussions with the Goa campus Director Prof. Suman Kundu, Prof. Srikanth Mutnuri, (University-Wide) Dean, International Programmes & Collaboration Division (IPCD), Prof. Rajesh Mehrotra, Current Associate Dean, IPCD, Prof. Rudra Prasad Pradhan (incoming Associate Dean, IPCD) at Goa Campus.

The delegation also interacted with Heads of Departments, Associate Deans of various divisions, and senior faculty members of the Institute. The discussions focused around exploring paths for academic & research collaborations and student/ faculty exchange programs between BITS Pilani and leading Russian universities.

The delegates also explored the campus, visiting several state-of-the-art laboratories and research facilities and expressed their appreciation for the Institute’s strong focus on innovation, interdisciplinary research, and international partnerships.
